I am a San Francisco Bay Area-based writer and maker. For nearly 20 years, I wrote about science, medicine, and business in the biopharmaceutical industry. At the same time, I fulfilled a childhood dream by studying fashion design at night and on weekends at Canada College and Apparel Arts, mastering couture sewing and tailoring techniques, pattern-making, and fit.
I am currently working on a variety of writing projects, including my first novel. I am also designing and making handcrafted garments and knits using traditional craft and couture techniques.
